Theodore J. Zeller III, a member of the firm, has extensive experience in alcoholic beverage law, commercial transactions including related real estate transactions, and litigation. Ted began his legal career litigating various cases in multiple forums. He has tried multiple cases in county and federal court, including jury trials and hundreds of cases before arbitration panels, district justices and administrative law judges. He was lead counsel in a beer rights case brought against the world's largest brewers and is general counsel to Yuengling Brewery.
His lobbying efforts helped to change the public venue law under the Pennsylvania liquor code to assist firm clients in obtaining licenses under statute instead of on the open market at extraordinary expense. In addition, he counsels clients regularly on the acquisition of liquor licenses on the open market and coordinates liquor license transactions with other practice areas such as real estate, corporate and business law, financing, tax law, and litigation.
Ted continues to handle various litigation matters, especially enforcement of victims' rights in personal injury actions.
