Robert G. Tallman

Bob has been a partner in the firm (and its predecessors) since 1962. His knowledge, wisdom and experience have guided the firm since its inception. Over the years Bob has served as a trusted counsel and advisor to some of the region’s largest and most respected institutions including the Lehigh Valley Dairy and the Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network. He has also assisted numerous large and small family-owned businesses in the management and transition of their assets over generations.

Bob continues an active estate administration practice with the firm and serves in an emeritus capacity on the management committee where he provides valuable insight into the firm’s development and growth.

Bob earned his degrees from the University of Miami (Ohio) and the University of Virginia Law School. He served as trial counsel in the Judge Advocate Corps of the U.S. Army. He has served on numerous boards of business corporations, charitable organizations, and education institutions including The Livingston Club, Wiley House and its successor, KidsPeace, The Swain School, Cedar Crest College, and Lehigh Valley Hospice. He served as general counsel and member of the executive committee of the Allentown-Lehigh County Chamber of Commerce, and is currently a trustee and president of the Walter and Alma Bastian Foundation, and a trustee and president of the Lehigh County Historical Society.
