Charles F. Smith, Jr., a member of the firm, practices primarily in the areas of commercial real estate transactions, litigation involving real estate and land use/development. He represents either lenders or buyers in commercial real estate transactions. He prepares loan documentation for lenders. On the buyer/borrower side, he has handled the acquisition of fifteen self storage facilities. He represents title companies in title insurance claims and litigation. In addition, Chuck manages ABE Settlement Services, LLC the firm's title insurance agency.
Chuck has twenty two years of practical legal experience in a wide range of areas. He acts as counsel to his clients and, whenever possible, strives to resolve legal issues that arise quickly and in a cost effective manner.
During his term as Chairperson of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, he conceptualized and initiated the Day on the Hill legislative awareness program which has become an annual event sponsored by the PBA on Capitol Hill in Harrisburg. He is an active alumnus of Lafayette College and serves as President of the Class of 1985. Chuck was born in 1963, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
