Timothy J. Siegfried

Timothy J. Siegfried, a member of the firm, is the chair of the Real Estate and Banking Group. He has represented banks, municipalities, publicly traded companies, real estate developers and REITs in many local and regional transactions, including complex acquisitions, mergers, financings, joint venture arrangements, leases, project finance transactions, syndications, public and private debt and equity placements, and transactions involving the development and management of regional malls, automobile dealerships, office buildings, assisted living facilities, warehouses, condominiums, planned communities, and other projects. He has extensive experience in the acquisition, financing, leasing, management, and development of industrial, commercial and residential projects and regularly represents clients in tax exemption and tax assessment appeals.

Timothy is very active in civic and community affairs, particularly those involving real estate. He volunteers with the ACE Mentor Program, which gives students from local high schools an exciting opportunity to learn more about potential careers in architecture, engineering and construction.  Timothy has served on the board of directors of the Wildlands Conservancy, was past chairman of the Lehigh County Board of View and currently is appointed to the Joint State Government Commission, Advisory Committee on Real Property Law (redrafting Pennsylvania's real property laws). With respect to this last appointment, Timothy is chair of The Uniform Condominium, Real Estate Cooperatives and Uniform Planned Communities Subcommittee.

Speaking of real estate and finance, should Timothy win the lottery tomorrow, look for him to use the money to purchase some ocean-side property in Barcelona. "As close to paradise as you can get," is how he describes the Spanish city to where he would move, along with his family citing the climate, the people, and the fact that it placed number one of the top ten list of cities for food as the reasons for the move.
