Wendy R.S. O’Connor, an associate of the firm, concentrates her practice in commercial litigation with an emphasis on creditors’ rights, construction law, and commercial disputes involving small businesses. Wendy is licensed to practice before the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey and frequently represents clients in casualty defense, professional liability, and insurance coverage matters.
Wendy has significant experience in all aspects of litigation, including pretrial proceedings, depositions, and motion practice, specializing in the preparation of case-dispositive motions. Wendy has represented clients in jury trials involving products liability and insurance coverage disputes and has extensive experience in the defense of veterinary malpractice actions. She also has considerable appellate experience, with an emphasis in the preparation of appellate briefs.
Wendy has presented to many different audiences on a variety of topics, from federal court discovery abuses to collection strategies for small businesses. She is actively involved as an Associate Liaison to the Firm’s Management Committee, a member of the Firm’s Associate Practice Management Committee, and a Liaison to the Firm’s Women’s Forum.
While in law school, Wendy served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Samuel W. Salas, Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery County. After graduating from law school, she concentrated her practice in insurance coverage disputes, products liability, and casualty defense.
Wendy currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Governors of The Hillside School. She is also a member of the Christkindlmart Council of ArtsQuest as well as a member of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce Women’s Executive Committee.
