As chair of the Pennsylvania office’s Labor and Employment Group, George focuses his practice exclusively on labor and employment law. He regularly handles traditional labor law matters and employment-related litigation and also counsels employers of all sizes with respect to workplace issues, such as discrimination, harassment, workplace accommodations, wrongful discharge, wage and hour, safety and health, employment contracts, noncompetition and confidentiality agreements, employee handbooks, unemployment compensation, union avoidance, collective bargaining negotiations and agreements, grievance arbitrations unfair labor practice charges,
While at George Washington University’s National Law Center, George was a member of the George Washington University Law Review. He has authored numerous articles and is a frequent lecturer at workshops, conferences, and seminars with respect to a wide variety of labor and employment law issues.
George is the past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley. He joined the Red Cross Board in September of 2003 and has previously served as the Board’s Vice Chair and a member of the Executive and Human Resources Committee. He also volunteers as a career counselor for the Minsi Trails Council Learning for Life program, is a soccer coach for the Parkland Area Soccer Club and is a football and baseball coach for the South Parkland Youth Association.
