Ronnie F. Hess, a member of the firm, focuses her practice on corporate, tax, and health care law. She counsels clients on corporate formation, choices of entity, tax aspects of entities, and general business law. Prior to her graduation from law school as class valedictorian at the age of 45, she was a financial consultant for closely held businesses and their owners.
Ronnie advises clients with regard to Medicare/Medicaid law, topics such as fraud and abuse, Stark, payment issues, and patients' rights issues. She has experience with antitrust aspects of joint ventures, pharmaceutical transfers, and practice acquisitions as well as the tax aspects of joint ventures, consolidations, mergers, employee benefits, and practice acquisitions.
She also negotiates and prepares agreements of sale, plans and agreements of mergers, and bylaws and employment agreements.
Ronnie is a member of the board and the finance committee of the Red Cross of the Lehigh Valley and serves as Secretary/Treasurer. She is also a board member of The Boys and Girls Club of Allentown Foundation. She is also a past president and former board member of Leadership Lehigh Valley.
Ronnie is an avid golfer and goes scuba diving at least twice a year. Her favorite underwater photos were taken diving in the Maldive Islands off the coast of India.
